ISSNAF BAC Talks @INNOV.IT – May 3rd, 2022

The ISSNAF Bay Area Chapter, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute San Francisco, has held a BAC Talk event with the aim to celebrate the winners of the 2021 Leonardo da Vinci Awards and the Bay Area finalist of the 2021 ISSNAF young investigator awards who will present their respective achievements.

Roberta Sala – Winner for Life Sciences/Medicine Stanford University “A journey into the cell biology of human gametes development”.

Matteo Cargnello – Winner for Engineering/Math Stanford University “Tackling big challenges using tiny crystals”.

Camilla Hawthorne – Winner for Humanities UC Santa Cruz “Contesting Race and Citizenship: Diasporic Politics in Italy and the Black Mediterranean”.

Marco Pritoni – Finalist ISSNAF Young Investigator Award 2021, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Developing Smart Building Technology to Decarbonize the Planet.
