Demo Day – ITA Global Startup Program, December 1st, 2022

Innovit is thrilled to have hosted the Demo Day of the Global Startup Program III edition organized by Italian Trade Agency – Los Angeles in collaboration with Runway Innovation Hub and Enrich – European Network of Research and Innovation Centers. After eight weeks of training, individual mentorships, and several visits to the main innovation hotspots in the Bay Area, 12 Italian startups presented their business idea in front of an audience of over 40 including venture capitalists, mentors, corporates, institutional representatives of other European countries and the Italian business community. 

The main objective of the program was to give to the selected startups the opportunity to review and improve their business model and market approach towards potential venture capitalists by deep-diving into the Silicon Valley mindset and eco-system. The event began with the opening speeches held by the Director of ICE Los Angeles, Alessandra Rainaldi, and the Consul General of San Francisco, Sergio Strozzi. Each of the 12 startups pitches were introduced by Sandra Milner, CEO of Runway, and Sebastian Torre, Enrich.

The Italian cohort was composed of: ArtCentrica, BYB Tech, Cargoful, Certiblok, Contents, Deesup, Exo Lab Italia, Kaaja, Lakenergy, Winedering, Relief Srl, Sensosan.
