Looking Beyond”, a beautiful satellite imagery exhibition at INNOVIT organized by the Italian Cultural Institute in San Francisco and the Consulate General of Italy.
The exhibition, curated by Filippo Maggia, showcases the unexpected beauty of satellite images acquired by the Constellation of Small Satellites for the Mediterranean basin Observation (COSMO-SkyMed), and they are part of Telespazio / e-GEOS and the Italian Space Agency database.
Each colored fragment holds a specific meaning, offering a unique aerial perspective that prompts us to observe and discover.
These images fascinate us, similar to contemporary art, encourage us to interpret the world beyond our immediate perception, a perfect example of the numerous activities at the intersection between Italian art, science, and technology we are promoting at INNOVIT.
Visits are by appointment, MON-FRI, 10 AM-4:30 PM, until May 3rd.
